Base Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually. This role offers an incentive plan.

***Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, experience, geographic location where the work is performed, etc.

This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day .  While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow. *The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.

Job Summary:

Trane Austin Commercial is hiring for a Light Commercial Inside Sales Specialist to join the team. In this position you will be providing sales support in the design, application, and selection of Trane light commercial unitary products. You will be working closely with our customers, account managers, project managers, sub-contractors, and material suppliers to ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for light commercial unitary product sales, growth, and sales solutions that involve teaming with Account Mangers in assigned territory.

  • Assisting in estimating, submittals, and order entry.

  • Utilizes plans, specifications, and knowledge of controls/construction industry to analyze project needs and compiles detailed cost estimates and scopes of work.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers, and co-workers. Build consultative relationships and trust with engineering, owner, and contracting customers.

  • Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps. Understanding inefficiency within current workflow and processes to better service customers by improving process between acquisition and fulfillment. Supporting our field support personnel by being the liaison to the office and improving processes for project handoff for execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Science or related field preferred

  • 3 to 5+ years HVAC / Construction Experience preferred

  • Detailed knowledge of HVAC Systems, specifically HVAC
