Peak Performers Accountant II in Austin, Texas
In this position, you will be an accountant in the AP division with a primary focus on processing invoices for payment. Having prior experience using the Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) is preferred. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance operations.

Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory.
Interpret laws and regulations.
Work accurately with numerical detail.
Analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
Excellent communication skills– verbal and written.
Payment of invoices through the CAPPS automated payment system.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures affecting the maintenance of accounting records and automated accounting systems.
What are we looking for?
Familiarity with accounting and financial operations.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is generally preferred.
Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
CAPPS – financial system Texas state agencies (Preferred)
Working experience processing invoices for payment through an automated payment system.
About this position:
Rate: $20.50 per hour
Length of engagement: ASAP – August 31,2023
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
