We are looking for an experienced Client Account Manager to be a part of our talented, inclusive, and supportive Energy & Process Industries Sales and Pursuits team. Our Energy & Process business is driven to meet clients’ rapidly changing infrastructure needs in generation, storage, transmission, and distribution of safe, reliable electric power. The Client Account Manager provides leadership and focus for a group of clients.This position is accountable for meeting sales targets and objectives for our Northeastern US region in the Power Utilities sub-segment. The Client Account Manager also allocates resources and makes decisions in support of the overall regional strategies.

We are looking for someone who lives in the Northeastern US and has relationships with power utilities clients in the region. There will be about 50% travel to client sites in the northeastern US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and coordinates appropriate relationship with clients in accordance with an account management program.

  • Implements strategies that enable the business to obtain needed new opportunities.

  • Establishes and monitors metrics supporting the Customer Satisfaction Program.

  • Provides advice and counsel on target opportunities and associated sales/capture strategies.

  • Participates in client segmentation process and makes appropriate client recommendations to Business Segment Director.

  • Participates in pricing and bid decisions and makes recommendations to Directors and Proposal Review Board (PRB).

  • Supports and provides guidance to Business Development functions by providing client and market information which supports the intended goal of gaining market share and more sales.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Sales and/or Client Account Management experience.

  • Previous Sales and/or Client Account Management in Power Utilities Industry with EPC projects.

  • 10+ years of experience in sales.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related degree (technical degree preferred).

  • 10+ years experience in direct selling, marketing, or proposal management.

  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
