Position Summary

Do you want to make an impact in your next role? Join CVS Health as the Rebate Product Owner of the application supporting our pricing operations teams. This role is key player in the transformational underwriting initiative to drive profitability across the enterprise.

As a Sr Manager you will be the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the design, strategy, and build of foundational analytical tools that drive rebate forecasting needs to support PBM pricing and underwriting functions. You will be tasked with developing a deep understanding of the business and business needs to ensure analytical requirements are accurately captured, communicated to key stakeholders, and prioritized appropriately on the project roadmap. You will support business validation testing and be responsible for performing overall data integrity checks using applications such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel. Finally, you will assist with the design and review of reporting packages created after data forecasting for utilization by downstream business partners as well as training underwriting on how to use this information to develop their pricing strategy.

This is a unique role that leverages the ability to combine business and technology acumen to operate as a leader and detail-oriented expert. The role will work closely with the leader of the ecosystem, product owners, and IT colleagues to facilitate a strong relationship to bring the vision and strategy to life through clear prioritization and value proposition for Underwriting. Additionally, a successful candidate is one that embraces change and suggests out of the box solutions that will optimize new business processes in support of our overall enterprise goal which is to improve the accuracy of forecasting logic and reduce financial leakage.

Responsibilities

  • Own the rebate tool product roadmap with real-time backlog management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and visibility throughout the year

  • Manage, organize, and prioritize underwriting feedback and capabilities in the product roadmap

  • Leverage deep understanding of the business to ensure analytical requirements are accurately captured and communicated to key stakeholders

  • Craft the product vision; support the design, strategy and build of analytical tools

  • Establish and evolve data-driven insights that inform key outcomes including product health, usability, and accuracy

  • Develop controls and standard operating procedures to create efficiency and structure within the application

  • Drive reporting and training needs for downstream business partners

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across both legacy and new applications to ensure consistency

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional work experience in forecasting/analytics

  • 3+ years leadership experience, either directly or indirectly managing a team and coaching and mentoring a diverse group of colleagues

  • 3+ years of analytical experience (excel, Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rebate experience (forecasting, trade, etc.)

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Experience prioritizing work and communicating in a manner that is clear, logical, consistent, and effective

  • Prior experience as working on the optimization of financial applications with a customer centric approach

  • Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries

  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization

  • Results oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals

  • Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology

  • Experience building and facilitating presentations to various audiences

  • Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or other data related fields

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
