IBM SAP SuccessFactors HR Senior Managing Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia


As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The SuccessFactors Human Resource (HR) Consultant is responsible for successful delivery of HR technology/process deliverables; particularly in SuccessFactors Employee Central Additional experience in one or more of the following is essential... Compensation (both basic and variable pay), Performance and Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Succession, Employee Central Payroll, Workforce Planning and Analytics. This includes implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of SuccessFactors applications. The consultant should have previous consulting experience and will configure modules, as well as assist clients in the selection, implementation planning, fit analysis, testing, rollout and post-implementation support of SuccessFactors HR application solutions.

The role will be responsible for assisting clients in comparison of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) application solutions and SuccessFactors HR application solutions, while making recommendations as to the best-fit for the client’s needs. The consultant will be responsible for having knowledge of and understanding of the integration between SAP and SuccessFactors and the future strategic direction of the application roadmap. A consultant in this area will also be responsible for understanding and developing business process requirements with a client that utilize SuccessFactors HR modules to support business needs while involved in improving operational metrics, business case development, and performance measurement. They will provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

A minimum of 7 years of experience with the following:

  • SuccessFactors certification is required for this position.

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience implementing SuccessFactors HCM and sub-modules as a SuccessFactors Lead/Solution Architect.

  • Total Rewards (Comp, Var Pay & Benefits)

  • Workforce Mgmt (Core HR, Time Mgmt & Payroll)

  • Pay for Performance (Performance Mgmt & Compensation & Var Pay)

  • Talent Development (LMS, Performance, Succession & Career Dvlp)

  • Talent Acquisition (Recruitment Mgmt, Recruitment Mktg, Onboarding)

  • Data Analytics (Core HR, WFP&A, and Advanced Reporting)

  • Experience and ability to translate business requirements to system configuration

  • Experience re-engineering HR business processes

  • Experiencing developing functional business integration requirements

  • Experience with 3rd party integration providers

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

9 years of experience in the following:

  • SuccessFactors Certification in one or more of the above desired modules

  • Experience in all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, go-live, testing.

  • Experience in assisting clients in addressing their most complex business challenges by maximizing performance of the Human Resource (HR) function through leading-edge systems and processes
