JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Under the general supervision of the facility Administrator or designee, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of program related initiatives or projects for a geriatric retirement facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program (such as Marketing, Psychology, Social Services).

  • Two years of related experience.

Additional Details

This position coordinates the activities of the Neurology Clerkship, for medical students as they complete their clinical learning of Neurology medical specialties. Responsiblities are varied and include scheduling and evaluating lectures during each rotation, assisting with student exams and evaluations, recruiting faculty presenters, etc. The clerkship works und the auspices of OMESA within the School of Medicine education and works closely with Clerkship Director to ensure the varied needs of the programs are met.

The ideal candidate would be professional, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organization skills and demonstrated ability to perform detailed and accurate work product.
