Position Summary :
The Lead Director, Business Officer will report to the Region President and provide direct support and leadership of the regional management process, communication needs, as well as culture initiatives and event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategizes with leadership to reinforce organizational culture and engagement, develop strategies to decrease colleague turnover and organizational success.
• Challenges partners to think differently regarding operational challenges and act as a thought partner by modelling creative problem-solving to impact business decisions.
• Leads and serves on appropriate task forces, standing committees and projects.
• Develops and supports delivery of communication plans for regional leadership in support of colleagues across all local markets in partnership with leaders and business partners.
• Develops communication vehicles (e.g., presentations, speeches, town halls).
• Serves as a conduit to connect strategy to leadership to optimize enablement and delivery of outcomes.
• Ensures consistent, efficient, and cost-effective processes, procedures, and appropriate accountability.
• Manages special projects that impact entire regional organization.
• Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, other business areas across/within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
• Influences changes to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services.
• Works across multiple functions and /or segments to obtain agreement from all impacted parties (e.g., up, and downstream effects often impact multiple functions and/or segments.
• Coordinates with Community Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Giving to develop and deploy health equity and other initiatives across region.
*Candidates residing in Southeast region highly preferred.
Required Qualifications :
• 5+ years’ work experience in strategy, communication, marketing, project management, or has worked with a sales organization.
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent executive presence and ability to communicate effectively and concisely with all levels in an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to turn information into actionable operational plans.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive culture and prioritizing diverse representation.
• Experience with mid-sized cross-functional initiatives, with a moderate to high degree of complexity.
• Demonstrated relationship management skills at peer levels within an organization.
• Demonstrated experience developing analysis, presentations, and support material to successfully implement strategy or change initiatives.
Education :
• Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
