IBM Enterprise Technical Seller–Next Gen Multi-Cloud Marketplace Platform in Atlanta, Georgia

Your Role and Responsibilities

Support IBM’s Journey To Cloud growth strategy and enable our clients to execute on development and operations strategies. Work with existing IBM and Red Hat clients, advocating for the top Enterprise-ready Kubernetes container platform in the industry. You will be evangelizing the Multi-Cloud Marketplace as a public and private catalog of certified solutions to accelerate application development and application operations across multiple cloud platforms.

• Promote adoption for Enterprises (pre and post sales)

• Present and explain the value of the Multi-Cloud Marketplace in the development process

• Promote the value of the Multi-Cloud Marketplace for building cloud native applications and container management

• Gain trusted advisor status with senior IT executives within assigned accounts as part of pipeline development and efforts to develop long term relationships

• Collaborate with the dedicated IBM client teams to identify opportunities for the platform that would accelerate application development

• Develop high level cloud strategies for IBM clients as part of a consultative sales cycle

• Create sales collateral, introducing clients to the Multi-Cloud Marketplace and help getting them started

• Drive identified opportunities through a defined sales process to closure

• Lead technical sales discussions with clients, from developer to CIO

Travel to enterprise client sites across North America, up to 75% annually.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Three years of experience developing cloud native applications on Multi-Cloud Marketplace platforms

  • Competitive knowledge of the container industry including Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker

  • Working knowledge of enterprise DevOps processes and technologies

  • Prior experience working face-to-face with enterprise level clients, ability to travel across North America, up to 75% annually.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Three years of experience in a quota carrying solutions sales or other technical sales role

  • Experience with a diverse set of cloud platforms
