Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop analytics and capabilities that generate portfolio insights to support Strategic Planning and inform strategic growth leans by compiling, synthesizing and transforming data into actionable portfolio recommendations

  • Help facilitate secondary recycling & rebalancing activities in conjunction with Capital Markets team

  • Support specialized LOB analytics & initiatives as needed

  • Provide input and suggestion on Risk Appetite and concentration framework approach in conjunction with LOBs and risk partners

  • Provide independent business side evaluation of critical risk and capital model parameter inputs (PD, LGD, EAD, correlations, etc.)

  • Help represent CBG for capital measurement, allocation & optimization initiatives

Required:

  • Strong technical skills for data mining, analytics and financial modelling

  • Strong understanding of concepts and practices relating to corporate banking, commercial lending and portfolio management (optimization, RAROC, economic capital, expected loss, tail risk, etc.)

  • Ability to balance and connect theory to real world market dynamics and business cases; quantitative aptitude must be matched with a business application vision

  • Ability to collaborate across wide range of constituents across organization

Credentials:

  • BS/MS in one or more of following: Finance, Quant Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics

  • 5+ years work experience in related fields: Banking, Asset/Portfolio Management, Finance, Data Science, Capital Markets, Risk Management

  • High proficiency in SQL and data mining; coding experience in advanced statistical packages a plus
