CVS Health Senior Data Engineer in Arizona

Job Description

Come and join the HEDIS Medicaid Data and Reporting Team.- Works collaboratively with internal/external business partners.- This position provides analytic and reporting support to the HEDIS Data team. -Oversees and or assists with creating complex queries, complex technical programming, and complex applications. - The team provides support to 16 Medicaid health plans, including analytics,. data submissions, NCQA and State Medicaid HEDIS submissions.

Required Qualifications

-Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.-Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.-Experience with SQL and knowledge of SQL database architecture.- Knowledge of XML.- Ability to problem solve.- Experience interacting with external auditors.- Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.- Healthcare background and medical claims experience.--NCQA HEDIS technical specification knowledge required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HEDIS Data and Data flows preferred.- Experience with healthcare statistics a plus.- Experience with testing and migrating software engines preferred.


Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
