nVent Quality Manager in Anoka, Minnesota

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • You will represent the QA function as the principal customer liaison for nVent Hoffman & Data Solutions, facilitating customer engagement and supplier quality management.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Oversee all quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and data analysis, to identify and address non-conformances. Develop and handle corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent their recurrence.

  • Act as a quality project leader and a structured problem-solving subject matter expert for driving initiatives within both the quality department and all other functional organizations. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to optimize quality and efficiency.

  • Support “Advanced Product Quality Planning” strategies and objectives for supplier product qualifications, new product introductions and engineering changes.

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing training and development opportunities.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Science degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Professional certifications in quality management such as CQE, CQM, or CQA preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality systems.

  • 2+ years leading teams/leadership experience.

  • Working knowledge of Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, MDI, etc.

  • ISO Management system experience (9001, 13485, 17025, etc.).

  • Adept in use of enterprise software quality tools such as Intelex, Trackwise, Catsweb, etc.
