The Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) in Anoka, MN is seeking a talented, mission driven, person-centered Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our team and make a difference in the lives of others. CARE specializes in providing residential treatment services for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. As a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor you will provide professional independent counseling and case management for clients with co-occurring substance and mental health disorders in an inpatient treatment setting.
Job Duties Include:
Conduct comprehensive assessment to identify substance use, behavioral and medical needs.
Provide a client-centered treatment plan, counseling and education
Provide case management, referrals and consultation.
Collaborate with clients, county case managers and identified support persons on aftercare planning for continuity in addressing co-occurring disorders.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must:
Clinical Program Therapist 3:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; AND
Be licensed or eligible for licensureby the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor; AND
Have three (3) years of post-Bachelor's degree experience providing clinical services.
OR
Have a Master Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related behavioral or social science program; AND
Be licensed or eligible for licensureby the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor; AND
Have one (1) year of post-Master's degree experience providing clinical services including individual and group therapy and interventions.
Per MN Statutes, all applicants must also:
Be at least 18 years old, AND
Be able to pass a criminal background check, AND
Sign a statement attesting that you have been free of chemical use problems for at least two years immediately preceding hire.
