Job Purpose and Impact
The Transportation Pricing Manager will develop, measure, and execute complex pricing strategies and analytics to ensure alignment with market conditions, support business growth and maximize opportunities, this position main goal will be focus on brokerage environment. In this role, you will act as a domain expert to communicate with stakeholders on market dynamics, the organization's competitive position and monitor buying patterns.
Develop and implement complex pricing strategies to ensure alignment to the market and the organization's strategy.
Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders on complex offers, bids and contract creation.
Monitor and communicate market conditions based on internal and external resources, indicators and trends.
Lead the negotiation process to support complex bids, price and service commitments, which fulfill profit goals and service requirements.
Build, monitor and update the organization's database to ensure accurate and timely information.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience in transportation operations, commodity, including brokerage, pricing, fleet operations or in a supply chain position
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to understand and prioritize business issues and impact
Experience using TMS Systems
Costumer interaction experience and communication skills
