What You Will Achieve

Pfizer Research and Development (PRD) at Pfizer combines research and technology units that have deep disease area expertise and cutting-edge science and platforms to discover and develop innovative therapeutic programs in small molecules and biotherapeutics, including vaccines. In your role, you will work under the guidance of a supervisor with high degree of independence and be responsible for the development and validation of robust and reliable ligand binding and cell-based assays suitable for biotherapeutics quantification and immunogenicity assessment in various biological matrices using a range of potential platforms and assay techniques. You will generate compound concentration and immunogenicity data in compliance of regulatory requirement. Your ability to plan will help in preparing short-term work activities on projects. Your creativity in developing novel processes and new ideas will be used frequently. You will undertake mentoring activities to guide your team members.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Laboratory focused position. Knowledge and hands-on experience on developing ligand binding assay and cell-based assay, utilizing various platforms and assay techniques.

  • Design, develop and implement ligand binding assays (e.g. ELISA, ECL detection) to measure compound concentration in biological matrix (plasma, serum), detect the presence of anti-drug antibody and neutralizing anti-product antibody activity utilizing various platform in a regulated (GLP, GCP) environment against challenging timelines.

  • Timely delivery of concentration and immunogenicity data to a supervisor and other partners in compliance with local or global regulatory requirement.

  • Advance bioanalytical capabilities to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness andappropriateness of assay for regulated support.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree and typically associated with 5 years of relevant GLP/GCP laboratory experience or Master's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant GLP/GCP laboratory experience, with a focus on ligand binding assay and/or cell-based assay development.

  • Proven track record in the area of biotherapeutics bioanalysis with understanding of a broad range of bioanalytical platforms.

  • Skills in GLP/GCP compliant analysis including following SOP and provision of quality regulatory documents.

Nice-to-Have

  • Industry experience with a focus in PK/immunogenicity assays and a strong record of scientific achievement.

  • Proven experience generating analytical data and analytical problem-solving skills in a regulated environment.

  • Ability to author technical documents like SOPs, data summary reports and analytical procedures.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, leadership and initiative.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position includes lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, and requires ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.

Work Location Assignment:On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,900.00 to $124,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
