Role Summary As we grow, we are adding new roles to support broker strategy at Meritain. The right candidate will have a passion for working with data from internal and external sources to support the overall strategy and direction for the Sales and Account Management departments. This exciting role will provide internal and external analyses to ensure proper information and insights for the long-term decision-making and forecasting process.Responsibilities

  • Sales/Retention Performance Analysis - Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, revenue, margin, market share and customer acquisition/retention. Provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership based on data-driven analysis to optimize sales strategies and tactics.

  • Market Research and Insights - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and growth opportunities.

  • Sales Planning and Retention Forecasting - Assist in the development of sales and retention forecasting budgets and plans in collaboration with leadership and finance teams. Develop forecasting models and methodologies to accurately predict performance across various relationships and geographic regions.

  • Data Analytics and Reporting - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytics tools to track performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner.

  • Broker Success Management Development - Support the development of broker strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectives and market dynamics. Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic priorities, set targets and allocate resources, and investments effectively.

    Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in sales analysis and strategy

  • 3+ years in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Salesforce, Tableau or similar software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales analysis and strategy in health insurance analyzing broker profitability, targeting, segmentation and forecasting for growth with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Proven track record for communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:Bachelor degree in mathematical/analytical field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $152,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
