Ryder System Inside Sales Supervisor in ALPHARETTA, Georgia
The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations of a work group, to include work analysis and staffing, customer interaction, financial forecasting and cost control, quality assurance, continuous improvement and performance management of assigned staff. The role is focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity, meeting service/productivity standards, and resolving operational problems and Identification of business process opportunities.
This person will lead our 12 member IVSR (sales support team). These representatives are hourly waged employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or 8 (eight) years related business work experience
Requires full use and application of relevant principles, theories, concepts and techniques
General knowledge of functional area(s) assigned
Manages day-to-day work processes and results to established service levels
Supervises exempt and nonexempt employees Provides day-to-day work direction
Primary input to hiring, performance, and rewards decisions for a group of employees Provides guidance, coaching and training
Ensures work coverage for the group, including scheduling, attendance management, and payroll
Manages to the ASL Acts as the primary escalation point and resolves and addresses issues within established guidelines
Implements and administers quality control/assurance processes and procedures and conducts audits
Participates in the development of goals to maintain optimum efficiency
Develops and maintains desk procedures, training manuals, internal control documentation
May lead or participate in projects to include department, SSC, division and corporate initiatives
Acts as the SME for the group and or business process
