The Parts Clerk/MRO Coordinator works in an office and production environment and supports the maintenance and production staff. The Parts Clerk/MRO Coordinator will be responsible for ordering and maintaining accurate inventory of parts and consumables and facilitating the electronic preventative maintenance program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchases parts and consumables for entire facility
Works with vendors to get appropriate parts in the time required at the best price available
Accommodates and escorts vendor representatives during visits
Creates purchase orders and works directly with Accounts Payable to provide accurate documents as needed
Maintains parts and consumable storage in an accurate and timely manner
Maintains the electronic maintenance program including scheduling, creating, modifying, and printing work orders
Works directly with departmental managers and maintenance personnel to meet their needs of researching parts, placing orders, and scheduling work orders
Accurately keeps records of various data including but not limited to equipment and utility records, wastewater regulatory test results
Continuously assesses critical spare parts requirements for all areas on the plant
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement
Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

HIRING BONUS - $1,500 awarded after 90 day completion.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
2 years inventory experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with asset management and material planning software preferred
Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Demonstrates organizational skills, particularly accuracy and timeliness
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English
