We are adding to our Digital Solutions team an iSeries Programmer Analyst that will provide support for complex issues within our SilverLake or CIF 20/20 platforms using a case management system. Candidates will be focused on customer support by using their coding experience to fix base code, correct programming errors, bug fixes and troubleshooting. Our team provides technical support for our SilverLake and CIF 20/20 core customers using the NetTeller and Banno digital banking products for both in-house and outsourced customers. This team is also responsible for developing and unit testing as well as other requests by bank institutions.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location. Travel up to 5% for training and team meetings will be required.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.

  • Unit tests and reviews programming to discover any errors and confirm the programs meet required specifications. Utilizes conversion and software implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Collaboration with other departments, customer IT personnel, and 3rd party technology partners.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Must participate in an on-call rotation to support customers after normal business hours including weekends.

  • Experience with one, or a combination of, RPG III, RPG IV/ILE, RPG Free and CL.

  • Minimum of 4 years of programming or IBM iOS experience.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience in Core support or development.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
