Work Shift:

2ND SHIFT (United States of America)

This position is responsible for following all procedures and guidelines to ensure that the effluent permit limits are met while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of wastewater systems. Monitor/maintain the operation of the waste water system. Fill chemical tanks as needed. Perform test on water then adjust chemical dosage as needed to obtain required results. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Accurately record and file all lab data. Monitor/maintain the flow of water and regulate as needed. Take samples of waste water and fill out appropriate paperwork to be sent off for testing. Maintain stability of the waste water system as per ADEM/EPA requirements. This person must be trained on Lock out/Tag out and use Personal Protective Equipment. Requires performing mathematical calculations and completing computerized reports. This is a cold/wet environment during cold months and hot/wet environment during hot months. Must have at least 6 months waste water technical or industrial maintenance experience. Requires reading/writing English.
