Position SummaryAs a Strategic Account Executive (SAE), you will deliver on the overall strategy of our clients’ prescription benefit plans. This position will support the Meritain Pharmacy Solutions (MPS) product with a focus on retention and growth by strengthening relationships and offering/upselling cost-saving solutions to existing clients. The SAE will be seen as a client problem-solver and will bring innovative solutions to our clients.

In this role, you will be expected to perform the following:• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at client organizations as well as our broker and consulting partners.• Provide leadership to a cross-functional, interdepartmental strategic account team (including Pharmacy Account Executive(s) and Pharmacy Client Experience Manager(s)) with full ownership for client satisfaction and service delivery.• Leverage internal and external networks (including PBM partners, clinical (CARE), and operations) as well as CVS Health Partners to drive optimal results and support holistic solutions for clients.• Act as a liaison and single point of contact between the client and MPS.• Build relationships with key client partners through a consultative approach to understand client benefit plan design needs.• Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement within assigned initiatives.• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis.• Convert the results of data analysis into meaningful business information and conclusions.• Listen and translate client needs into clear outcomes that meet constituents’ expectations and business goals.• Offer/upsell cost-saving solutions by utilizing product and program knowledge.• Facilitate internal and external meetings and presentations to provide status updates and make decisions relative to client benefit setup.• Execute client renewals with key client stakeholders and asking effective probing questions that lead to innovative pharmacy benefit plan designs benefiting both the client and MPS.

Your success as a Strategic Account Executive will be driven by your ability to retain your assigned book of business and achieve above-average client satisfaction scores. The contributions you will make in this role will position MPS for long-term growth in the competitive PBM marketplace. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications• minimum 3 years of account/client management experience

• minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy benefits management (PBM)

• Very strong written and verbal communication skills (interfacing with senior/c-suite level)

• Very strong organization skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Detail orientated

• Able to handle high pressure situations and shifting deadlines

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications• CPhT preferred

• PBM financial and/or analytical experience preferredEducation• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
