The Quality Coordinator is responsible for conducting quality monitoring, problem-solving quality issues, conducting review and remediation, making recommendations and implementing strategies to promote continuous improvement.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Minimum 2 years quality assurance experience; monitoring, analyzing, and trending
Experience in healthcare setting; hospital and physician registration and/or billing experience required
Strong computer skills including EXCEL, WORD, and ACCESS
Training adult learners
Experience with EPIC preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Flexible work schedule
Ability to monitor data quality, analyze, and trend data
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
Monitor real-time performance
Make recommendations for improvement to end users, leadership, and stakeholders
Create job aids, training materials, and policy and procedures
Recommend training for staff as needed to help ensure quality and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures; provide remediation as necessary
Strong customer service skill with ability to work with diverse population
Strong analytic and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products; must have advanced skills in EXCEL, WORD and ACCESS
Database development and management
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management skill
Versatility and flexibility to work within a constantly changing environment
