Job Summary: SUNY RF is seeking an experienced program director for a brand new AmeriCorps program, the Empire State Service Corps, supporting over 400 AmeriCorps members across 40 program sites. The Program Director will be responsible for all AmeriCorps compliance activities, as well as developing professional development activities for the corps members.
Job Duties:
Oversee the implementation of nearly $3 million federal AmeriCorps grant to 40+ subgrantees
Complete all necessary federal reporting requirements and deliverables
Lead the development and writing of the broader AmeriCorps grant for the project
Create and implement a professional development and training plan for over 400 Corps members
Lead the planning and organization of a summit for the corps members
Work with 40+ AmeriCorps campus coordinators to meet program initiatives and deliverables
Be prepared to support, coach and guide the AmeriCorps members once they're in place with the campus coordinators
Job Requirements:
Required Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree at least 3 years or equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Experience with Grant Management
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines, as well as having multiple interested stakeholders;
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Strong time management skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills including working with multiple campus contacts
Comfortable with grant reporting requirements and ability to keep required documentation especially AmeriCorps or federal grant reporting
Compensation for this position: The compensation for this role is between $95,000 to $105,000. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications.
