Position Summary

• Manage contract needs for Meritain Pharmacy Solution (MPS) when the client is a direct client by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client contracts. Provide contract support when the client purchases PBM through the TPA.

• Collaborate with the Head of Meritain Pharmacy Solution to present c ontract language to internal stakeholders across multiple departments to gain alignment on strategy and implementation .

• Lead cross-function work groups to improve contract templates and processes.

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement future contract language needs to support membership growth and to align with the various services and programs being offered.

• Provide consultative support to sales and account management partners.

• Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks

  Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience interpreting and negotiating contracts

• PBM knowledge and experience

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

• Process improvement experience

• Able to give direction and make independent sound business decisions

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
