For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are searching for a Medical Assistant to join our agency. This position is based out of our Center Health Clinic in Albany, NY. This position is Monday through Friday during day time hours - no weekends!
Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of clerical and clinical duties such as coordinating the flow of patients and obtaining health histories and doing vital signs.
Assist the physician or other medical provider with examinations and treatments.
Requirements:
A diploma from an accredited medical assistant program or a two year medical assistant associate degree required.
At least one year of related experience, specifically in a medical office is desirable.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Compensation for this position is $16.00-$19.19 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
