The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As a Manager, Citrix Systems Engineering this position will manage the team responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of the virtual infrastructure focusing on the Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and Azure platforms.

As a Citrix Manager you should be experienced in supporting multi-vendor virtualization technologies and server/desktop hardware environments.

Position Purpose:

Manages daily operations in the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Monitors systems performance and provides recommendations as required.

Provides leadership to direct reports.

Is accountable for the performance and results produced by the team.

Strong ability to drive process through change management.

Help set strategic direction for a department within the IT organization and develop technology opportunities to drive business needs.

Assist in the development and implementation of short term business plans.

Ensure that training, coaching and mentoring opportunities are available to staff.

Assist with establishing and implementing IT operations, systems, policies and procedures that achieve the directives and strategies set by leadership.

Function as a strong contributor to the IT management team, participating in special projects and task forces as required.

Perform other duties as required.

Additionally you will bring:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.

Or in lieu of education and experience, demonstrated work experience and accomplishments applicable to the level, duties and scope of this role

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Cloud Computing required.

Experience with Other: systems management, network management, and systems integration required.

Experience with one or more of the following Other: infrastructure monitoring tools, service management tools, automation frameworks and/or shell scripting required.

Perform system administration of the virtual infrastructure including Citrix, Ivanti, Vmware and other technologies.

Provide support for the virtual infrastructure by investigating and troubleshooting incidents and issues to resolution and providing well documented status updates.

Provide day to day support for the virtual infrastructure including new system delivery, preventative maintenance, and proactive availability.

Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of current Citrix XenApp architecture and components

Strong knowledge of current Citrix Netscaler/ADC

Strong knowledge of two factor technologies and its integration with CITRIX clients.

Good working knowledge of implementation of SSL Certificates

Good understanding of Firewall rule implementation & troubleshooting.

Windows Server 2012, 2016 and newer environments

Windows desktop OS 10 and 11

Active Directory and AAD management knowledge

Group Policy (GPO)

Domain migrations and consolidation

PowerShell and other scripting languages

Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS

Ivanti (AppSense) personalization

Soft Skills:

Ability to lead/manage others
