Albany Medical Center Manager, Childcare Services in Albany, New York

The Manager of Childcare Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of administrative activity for Kidskeller Inc., Child Care at AMC. The site manager will work closely with the executive director in the operation of Kidskeller Inc. ensuring that Kidskeller is operating in accordance with NYS OCFS licensing standards and AMC policies and procedures. The site manager reports directly to the executive director of the childcare center. The site manager will work in conjunction with the executive director, curriculum coordinator and staff to establish and maintain an efficient, cohesive and productive work team within the programs of Kidskeller Inc.

Reports directly to the Executive Director-Responsible for the management of staff in Toddler-PreK programs.

Salary Range: $49,846.00 - $79,754.00

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree including 12 credits in early childhood education, required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a professional childcare setting or classroom, required.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years management/supervisory experience, required.

  • Knowledge of NYS OCFS licensing regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Good presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, teacher assistants, and parents.

  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and report writing skills.

  • Ability to supervise employees.

  • Word processing and online operations skills.
