SEFCU Executive Assistant to the President and CEO in Albany, New York

Overview of Your Role

Provides high level executive support to the President and CEO of SEFCU. Performs other administrative support as required by the needs of the Administrative Department.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Manages the routine affairs of the office of the Chief Operating Officer and President of SEFCU by:

  • Screening correspondence and telephone calls

  • Scheduling appointments

  • Routing memos, transcripts and general information

  • Researching and/or reviewing records, documents, and billings

  • Performing special projects

  • Organizing and updating manual and electronic files

  • Maintaining a calendar of internal meetings

  • Taking dictation and preparing correspondence

  • Providing secretarial services

  • Performing miscellaneous duties as required

  • Registers and coordinates the schedules of the CEO and President of SEFCU attending educational courses and seminars and makes all travel arrangements for same

  • Other duties as needed

Credentials, Experience and Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Minimum five years experience is required

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills

  • Organized and able to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds

  • General understanding of credit union procedures and policies

  • Must be tactful and diplomatic. Has the responsibility of safeguarding credit union materials, Confidentially is mandatory

  • Must possess advance knowledge of secretarial routines and office equipment

  • Must type 55 WPM and have extensive computer literacy

  • Your ability to be bonded is required
