Elan Advisory Services provides an outsourced credit card solution to numerous banks and credit unions across the United States as well as Merchant Services through our business partner, Elavon. This role executes strategies and activities to add new issuing partners via purchase of an existing credit card asset and start up card issuing programs. The key responsibilities include:
Generating sales and new business development within the U.S. Financial Institution channels
Proactively identifying revenue generating opportunities at prospective banks and credit unions, and calling on these financial institutions, both over the phone and in-person, to nurture and close new sales leads
Attending conferences and other industry events to positively present available solutions and prospect new leads
Ensures that business opportunities and leads are identified and capitalized upon based on comprehensive knowledge about the clients, markets, and available products and services such as a Credit Card Outsourcing model and Merchant Services
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Two or more years of relevant experience, preferably in financial sales/business development
Ability to travel-15%-30%
Knowledge of the Community Bank and Credit Union markets is preferred
Strong prospecting and new business development/sales skills
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
