This exciting new position develops and delivers educational programs to providers in the areas of Value Based Care and Accountable Care Organizations. It requires up to 75% travel in the Northeast United States. Licensed RN required in MD, VA, NY, CT, MI, IL, WI, or OH.
Position Purpose: Responsible for developing and conducting a variety of learning experiences for clinicians on current business needs and evidence based clinical practice methods. Collaborate with leadership to identify continued learning opportunities. Maintain and monitor the learning experiences, providing solutions for knowledge expansion. Evaluate the curriculum delivery and quality as it relates to the clinician’s success in their role.
Coordinate learning efforts with various cross-functional areas within clinical department.
Develop and administer a universal learning curriculum for new employees as well as ongoing education to maintain identified core competencies
Develop learning curriculum based on clinical staff knowledge, needs, and areas of improvement needed as identified by senior leadership, staff request, or other business indicators
Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works as applicable
Evaluate effectiveness of learning programs, including cost and benefit analyses and communicate results to management
Monitor trends and identify gaps in learning and implement improvements in educational programs
Review and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree required, preferred Master’s degree in nursing or a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Science or specialty therapy such as OT, PT, or ST (depending on position need)
Registered Nurse with minimum of 2-4 years of clinical experience; preferably 4-6 years of clinical experience; or minimum of 4 years of behavioral health clinical or specialty therapy experience. (depending on position need)
2 years of teaching experience
1-2 years managed care experience
Registered Nurse with unrestricted RN license; or Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Science with Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license or Master's degree and licensed in OT, PT or ST (depending on position need).
Current state driver’s license.
Optional: Post Master’s Certificate in nursing education, ICQI Certification
