Who are you?
You are a business development professional with extensive experience building meaningful partnerships, driving forward negotiations, and closing on these deals. You want to be part of a strong, dynamic team that works hard and runs fast, where you have the ability make a huge impact.

What you will do:
You will seek and find external partnering and licensing opportunities for SUNY technologies. You will help to identify campus research in the early stages that have a high potential to become commercial opportunities. You will engage not only with your RF and SUNY colleagues but also individuals from industry to promote technologies, research market trends and develop partnerships. You will be part of our Industry & External Affairs team and work together to develop, market, and implement technology and sell the story of SUNY research and innovation.

What can you bring to an exciting opportunity like this?
A technical degree in a discipline that will enable you to carryout the duties of the IEA Business Development Professional with success.
Three to Five or more years of experience in Business Development, Technology licensing, or Product Development
Academic and commercial experience in biotechnology, medical device and diagnostics, therapeutics, drug development, pharmaceuticals and biomedical technologies
Experience with the development, preparation and negotiation of a wide range of business contracts
