Position SummaryServices tech is responsible for maintaining apps, monitoring systems, troubleshooting, re-create issues, running SQL queries, portal sets up, back-end testing and ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user requests. Back up Services desk on phones and be willing to work weekends, after hours or overtime If needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-1+ years of experience in demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including ability to write queries on SQL DB, network administration, software installation and configuration.

  • 0-1 years of experience using MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • 0-1 years of experience with IT project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.

  • 0-1 years of experience with service desk functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, database management, or a role with similar responsibilities.

  • Relevant certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • Knowledge of database agile development technologies.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team.

  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology and software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with organizational capabilities.

  • Be able to cover phones when needed.

  • Ability and willingness to work weekends, after hours or overtime when needed.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Solid understanding of computers and software.

  • Analytical thinking skills.

  • Ability and willingness to work in a high-pressure environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support experience.

  • Ability to understand and resolve complicated technical issues.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education

HS Diploma required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $29.88

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
