As a Global Marketing Operations Coordinator, in Wilmington, DE, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. GPPS (Global Product and Portfolio Strategy) bridges science and commercial, integrating corporate, portfolio, therapy areas and product strategies, providing strategic direction from early-stage research through to commercialization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Global Marketing Operations Coordinator (GMOC) will support the Global Market Planning team by working closely with the Portfolio Operations Leader to assist with the coordination, development, and execution of various day-to-day marketing operations activities and work streams that impact the US & Global commercial business. As a GMOC, you will work closely with the Portfolio Operations Leader to help shape communications, presentations, and training materials for the US & Global commercial business that support key marketing operations platforms and processes (i.e. PromoMats, ADRD, etc.). The Portfolio Operations Leader will provide direction and guidance to the GMOC on processes, timelines, tools and best practices in delivering the best marketing operations experience.

The GMOC will assist in the oversight and development of various marketing operations resources and training materials that support the US & Global commercial business. As GMOC, you will serve as secretariat and lead facilitator/coordinator for the marketing operations governing body and provide project management support as needed to the Portfolio Planning team, as well as the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) Asset Development Review and Delivery (ADRD) Program Office.

Additionally as GMOC you will provide coverage as needed to the Portfolio Operations Managers to support day to day operational activities during times of resourcing and capacity constraints; manage and monitor customer communication input vehicles for both reactive and proactive response; track and log opportunities where further training and communication outreach may be needed.

As the GMOC, you will provide project management support as needed for business-critical programs and activities as determined by leadership and/or Portfolio Operations Leader. Examples include roles in: launch excellence, multi-channel campaign planning, execution/planning, and other enterprise specified programs needing project management support. Additionally as the GMOC you will coordinate, develop and distribute agendas, pre-reads, meeting minutes and action items for marketing operations governance and provide assistance with ad hoc marketing operations reporting requests.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects at once

  • Independent worker with demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem solving skills

  • Skilled in oral and written communications

  • Ability to work in a team environment, between teams, across reporting lines and matrix structures

Desirable Requirements

  • Understanding of AZUS Brand/Portfolio environment including roles & responsibilities and interactions with key partners (e.g., PRA, Production Services, etc.)

  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience or proficiency with AZ marketing systems and processes (Veeva Vault PromoMats, Atlas, ADRD, etc.)

  • Demonstrated project management experience

  • Depth of understanding of scientific and/or commercial marketplace of respective therapeutic area(s) a plus

  • General understanding of AZ financial processes and systems, including basic accounting principles a plus
