A Recreation Coordinator with Hilton Grand Vacations isresponsible for planning, coordinating and implementing recreation and leisureactivities for all guests and owners for the enhancement of their vacationexperience.

Whatwill I be doing?

ARecreation Coordinator with Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for planning,coordinating and implementing recreation and leisure activities for all guestsand owners for the enhancement of their vacation experience. Commitment anddedication to our Spirit of Service culture is an expected behavior to bedisplayed towards our guests and team members at all times. Specifically, youwould be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinatesrecreational programs on a day-to-day basis for all age groups according toneeds and interests of guests/owners, resort requirements and seasonalopportunities.

  • Plans,organizes and instructs specific classes, activities and events, includingspecial events, holiday programs, competitions, mixers and other groupactivities. Monitors and evaluates recreation program content and preparescommunication material (flyers, handouts, postings, etc.) to attractparticipants and promote program interest.

  • Evaluatesprograms/activities for effectiveness and participation seeking new andexciting ideas for enhancement of the programs. Monitors pool activities, towelinventory control, and all other activity common areas. Provides outstandingguest/owner service at all times including answering inquiries, providinginformation and general problem solving.

  • Maintainsrecreation inventory and orders activity supplies within budgetary constraints.Assists and provides support to other departments when requested. Assists inconducting program surveys and preparing reports as needed. Carries out allreasonable requests or special projects by management of which the employee iscapable of performing.

  • Ensuresmooth flow and control of resort pool towels while maintaining the neatness ofthe Towel Desk. Maintains proper stock levels in the Towel Desk.

  • Rentand sign out recreation equipment to guests. Assist in recreation programs asrequired.

  • Monitorpool and enforce all safety rules and regulations.

  • Knowledgeof a wide variety of recreation activities and programs including theirdevelopment and implementation.

  • Knowledgeof computer programs and ability to prepare documents advertising activities aswell as routine administrative paperwork.

  • Knowledgeof customer service standards.

  • HighSchool graduate or GED equivalent required.

  • Previouscustomer service experience required.

  • Mustbe flexible to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends andholidays.

Itwould be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions:

  • Minimumof 2 years practical recreation preferred.

  • 1year concierge work experience preferred.
