Role Overview

The Commercial Analytics Specialist will analyze existing sales actuals and forecasts to improve sales forecast accuracy globally across 30+ countries. The role involves delivering valuable insights and producing action plans to enhance sales forecast accuracy through data-driven analysis.

High Level Responsibilities

  • Sales Forecast Analysis: Perform monthly reviews of sales forecasts across 30+ countries to generate insights for forecasting improvements, aiming to enhance customer service and reduce obsolescence.

  • Action Plan Development: Devise and execute action plans to address and improve identified issues in forecasting processes.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with International Supply Chain, Regional Sales, and Operations teams to implement action plans and ensure the local application of global guidelines and best practices.

  • Commercial KPI Analysis: Analyze commercial KPIs, reports, and trends, and produce memos and presentations that clearly communicate actionable insights for opportunities.

  • Tool Development: Identify opportunities to develop new tracking tools to improve analytics practices, liaising with tech teams and analysts to bring them to life.

  • Support Strategic Projects: Provide support to strategic projects through critical thinking and clear communication, serving as an enabler for growth.

  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical mind, able to derive actionable insights from data.

  • Communication Skills: Highly developed communication skills, fluent in English, with an ability to tell compelling stories with data.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing stakeholders, able to challenge existing views confidently with data support.

  • Transitioning Ability: Excellent at transitioning between different areas and levels within the company, creating meaningful connections that facilitate action.

  • Collaborative Attitude: Flexibility to work with different time zones and experience working with international teams.

  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a collaborative work style.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in business analytics, sales forecasting, and stakeholder management.

  • Previous experience in business analytics, a deep understanding of sales, and some finance knowledge.

  • Experience with transformation projects and a background in consulting firms are desirable.

  • Flexibility to work with different time zones, experiences working with international teams. Collaborative attitude.
