Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager- Ecosystem in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Product Manager- Ecosystem to join our team and become a driving force behind the continued success of Microsoft Teams (the fastest-growing business application in Microsoft's history, with 320 million monthly active users) and help accelerate our growth of Microsoft Copilot through a vibrant and robust third-party ecosystem within Microsoft 365.

Microsoft Teams is the cornerstone of collaboration, uniting the power of Microsoft 365 to empower teams worldwide to achieve more. Teams is also now playing a key role in Microsoft’s Copilot strategy, delivering the power of AI with the collaborative scenarios that people use Teams for daily. As we continue to evolve and expand, we are on a mission to drive and support the development of third party (ISV) applications on the Teams and M365 Copilot platform, helping customers to achieve their fullest potential by leveraging the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, collaborative communications, and third-party data and services that they use every day.

In this role, you will engage with our strategic partners (ISVs) at all points of the partnership and product lifecycle – from a) pitching to partners to have them build and integrate into the M365 platform, b) helping partners envision and design their AI and collaborative apps, c) assisting them with roadmap planning, development and execution, and d) helping launch apps into the Teams and Copilot marketplace and driving successful adoption and engagement of their apps with customers.

You will work directly with partners (in some cases, all the way up to their C-suite) advising them on the right approach to solve their problems, using a toolbox of platform capabilities across a suite of Microsoft technologies. As part of this work, you will capture partner and customer signals that are vital to improving our platforms, which you will relay and advocate for with our internal Teams and Copilot engineering feature teams.

As a Senior Product Manager- Ecosystem, you will engage with strategic partners to help them envision and build scenarios that unlock collaboration and productivity gains through the use of artificial intelligence, using the Teams platform. You will build solid relationships with cross-disciplinary teams from engineering, design, business development and marketing to ensure that solutions you help build, solve the problems of partners and customers and help with business transformation.

You will also be accountable for driving awareness and alignment with internal teams around the voice of partners and customers that emerge as part of your strategic partnerships, making sure key challenges and feature gaps are channeled back into our plan to improve our product.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
