What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Manager, Client Insights & Analytics, you will strive to be a thought partner and provide advice and recommendations that assist in the development and evaluation of client segment strategies from an analytics perspective. In this capacity, you will use segmentation to deliver data driven insights and reporting to key partners. You will create executive presentations that clearly and concisely communicate key analytical findings to business leaders. You will assess potential strategies and conduct cost/benefit analysis. The focus of this role will be New-to-Canada clients as they embark on establishing financial relationships in this country. Knowledge and ability to conduct research on current immigration trends (from Immigration Canada and other external sources) for permanent residents and foreign workers who are coming to Canada and connecting opportunities to client acquisition and retention strategies will be important.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you’ll succeed

  • Data Savvy: Contributes to the ongoing development and enhancement of analytics, business case and visual analytic tools that leverage industry best practices. Recommend improvements to overall analytical approach for the team through interaction with internal stakeholders and through industry research. Comfortable with the end to end analytical process from ETL (extract, transform, load) to synthesizing and presenting insights.

  • Understand Business Needs: Understand the business context behind a analytics need and manage scope and project timelines. Communicate analytical findings clearly to a non-technical audience/user. Have excellent organization skills to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity under strict timelines.

  • Relationship Management: Form strong working relationships with key partners across the Bank (Enterprise Analytics, Client Experience, Digital, Delivery and Operational Effectiveness), as well as, external data vendors.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience. 5+ years’ experience in the banking sector (preferred) and strong skills in applied statistics and mathematics. SAS, SQL and Tableau knowledge is required. Modeling skill would be an asset. Comfortable working with Big Data and have experience with complex queries and Tableau dashboard building. You can tell an insightful story from data and deliver executive presentation decks.
