Southborough, MA - The Associate Manager, Energy Training develops and executes training plans to successfully onboard, train and support new hire and current sales professionals. The incumbent will manage the logistics and strategic planning for training events and workshops in collaboration with the Training Manager, Product marketing leads and sales. He/She, in partnership with sales/marketing, develops, implements and supports all training programs, and product launches. The incumbent also provides ongoing technical support to field sales personnel and customers for training technology such as LMS administration, vendor credentialing programs, QStream, etc. EOE Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled
Develop and execute on training plans/curriculum for training classes, product events (new product launches) and field training activities.
Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure all training logistics and learning objectives are achieved.
Assist and assume responsibility for the redesign of training content, delivery in classroom, workshop development and supporting materials.
Use adult learning principles and solid design elements to develop workshops and activities for classes, product launches and field training events.
Assist with management of ISS classroom and is able to recognize learning opportunities and providing suggestions for activities, workshops, testing and/or reinforcement.
Design LMS modules with marketing support and ID direction.
Provide support and direction for all new hires starting with on- boarding, home study assignment, Field Training, ISS and Advanced Business training courses.
Execute all new hire on-boarding calls establishing expectations for NHO, HSP and ISS classes.
Establish and manage on line learning and home study plans within LMS.
Assign new hires to appropriate classes and manages all logistics.
Maintain responsibility for management of (Business) Training documentation.
Track and evaluate progress performance during all new hire events, product launches and field based training initiatives.
Provide technical assistance to internal customers specifically for training technology and internet based sites.
Main LMS administrator for (business) and manages new hire progress.
Support QStream technology launches and monitors progress.
Support Vendor Credentialing with new hire on-boarding and fielding questions.
Collaborate with marketing on the Engage app and resource library; provide training and guidance to new hires and in classroom.
Support and manage internal eTesting site for Home Study and ISS classroom training.
Assist in training events with logistics and meeting management.
Develop and manage In House Class schedules, speaker assignments and helps plan for hands on sessions.
Provide on-site logistics.
Collaborate with manager to insure the alignment of logistics for event/training, such as ordering food, making hotel accommodations and attendee travel.
Oversee and manage the proper inventory of all (business) Training equipment to support training events with inbound and outbound equipment shipments.
Oversee and partner with Central Purchasing on location bid reviews, pricing, service and rental fee negotiations.
Contract review and submission to executive management, legal and finance.
Manage HCP/customer communications & logistics.
Manage POs for training vendor services.
Support and direct other project management activities for (Business) Training as needed (ie: Devt of Field Training Guides).
Support Surgical Training Team initiatives as directed.
Perform all related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Education, Business Administration or related field is required. Equivalent job-related experience and knowledge will be considered.
Project management and/or CTSM certification from a recognized organization is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years current experience in the administration or management of a corporate training team and its activities is required.
Minimum of 3 years current experience in the planning and implementation of off-site events for small to large groups is required.
Must have high level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Windows operating System.
Additional familiarity with MAC operating system is preferred.
Must be able to develop and manage a project plan using MS Project.
Mastery of Lotus Notes and Lotus Notes calendar functionality or past experience with a similar program and the ability to master Lotus Notes is required.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects involving numerous internal and external stakeholders is essential
Must have drive for results by taking initiative, be able to overcome roadblocks, and be empowered to get the job done.
Ability to learn new software and processes easily as job requires is necessary.
Must be well organized with excellent communications skills.
Must show accuracy and have attention to detail.
National travel with overnight stays may be required (approximately no more than 30%).
