CVS Health Senior Encounters Validation Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

Position Summary

*Proactively identify errors and assist in correcting both internal and external rejects in an accurate and timely manner according to regulations

*Prepare, validate, submit, load, track, and log 837 encounter files and response files in accurate and timely manner according to state and federal regulations

*Assist and lead in the development of documentation to support encounter validation and team processes

*Support encounter vendor relation activities and implementations

*Contribute to activities such as analysis, planning, design, development, testing, installation and maintenance of software systems and workflows for business areas

*Assists in the definition, implementation, and rollout of vendor/customer products

*Analyze data for trends and translates data into meaningful information

*Understand nuances of data, checks for reasonability, and works to improve data quality

*Provide analysis of business implications and applies problem solving skills to meet business needs

*Creatively translates information using business knowledge and identifies additional information needed to support analytical objectives

  • Interact with internal/external customers to define/develop requirements and resolve issues

*Participate in the presentation of information to customer and internal business areasRequired Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience preparing, validating, submitting, loading, and logging 837 encounter files and response files

  • 2+ years of relevant programming or analytic experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Candidate should be familiar with the HIPAA transaction sets, claims processing and encounters.

  • Should have ability to move multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results even when others are directly accountable for the outcome.

  • Ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external constituents a must

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
