BMO Financial Group Intermediate Application Software Developer in Ontario, Canada
The Application Software Developer is accountable for the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of BPM (Business Process Management) application in support of the Lines of Business strategies.
Some Specific Functions Of This Role:
Writes high quality and well-documented code according to accepted standards based on user requirements
Participates in development, testing and implementation of small to mid-size initiatives
Participates in project and team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as appropriate
Contributes to successful completion of project deliverables
Provides support to team members and application
Knowledge and Skills:
Good knowledge of design and analysis methodology and application development processes
1-3 years of development experience. New graduate will also be considered.
Solid understanding of SDLC
Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving
Strong organizational skills
Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Good understanding of emerging technologies
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Some experience working with Business Process Management and/or Robotic Process Automation technology will be an asset
University degree or college diploma in Computer Science
Good development skill with Java/ J2EE technologies
Good skill in working with databases like SQL and/or Oracle
Good skill in working with UI development with CSS, AngularJS
Technical working skill in Windows and Unix environments
Understanding with Agile development methodology
