The Legal Onboarding team is responsible for reviewing incoming requests for new master agreements or amendments to existing master agreements. The team reviews the requests to ensure all information and documentation that is required has been provided correctly in order to allocate the request to a Legal negotiator. Once the negotiation is completed and the trading documentation has been signed by both parties, the Legal Onboarding team is responsible for ensuring all diligence activities are performed, including document storage, data maintenance, and other critical tasks towards ensuring compliance with our counterparty trading documentation requirements.

/ / The main responsibilities of an Analyst are: o Ongoing monitoring of account opening systems to identify new documentation requirements o Liaising with requestors across Barclays to understand business requirements, client structures, and requirements for Legal documentation to enable trading in various products, including Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Repurchase Agreements, and support of Barclays Prime Services offering o Assigning new documentation requests to Legal negotiators, ensuring that all information is available for them to complete negotiation with the client o Updating Legal systems with regards to documentation and data points which are used by various teams across the organization. Ensuring data accuracy and quality. o Supporting ad hoc project requests, including bulk requests, data remediation, and other areas o Supporting continuous improvement opportunities across the team
