As the Culturally Responsive Systems Supervisor in the COMPASS Division, you will lead and supervise a Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) COMPASS team and lead the work of several teams within the nine Regional COMPASS teams within the Minnesota Service Cooperatives. You will provide guidance, support and professional development in culturally responsive systems, leadership and instruction through the COMPASS Regional Teams and across the agency.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of related professional experience in a PreK-12 School System

OR

A bachelor's or master's degree in Education and 4 years of related professional experience in a PreK-12 School System

Experience must include:

  • Supervisory or management experience including staff oversight

  • 3 years in a School or District Leadership position

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in school leadership or a combination of school and district leadership

  • Experience with leading programming for diverse learners, including students of color, multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and American Indian students

  • Experience leading district-level equity programming

  • Experience designing and delivering professional development
