Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Ceramics School/Division: Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Humanties Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time Description: Hofstra University's Department of Fine Arts, Design, Art History is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Beginning Ceramics classes in Fall of 2024. The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Teaching Beginner Ceramics courses Working in creative higher educational environments Knowledge of and the ability to teach handle and maintain ceramics related materials, chemicals, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner Qualifications: A Master of Fine Arts ( MFA ) degree in a related field Experience teaching at the college level Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive in an educational environment.
