We are looking for an individual to add value to our Information Technology Department. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing infrastructure and process support for ICT to manufacturing plant operations, including the implementation of various application that are critical to meeting the plants SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale) objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Supporting both Office and Shopfloor environments and interfacing directly with management staff and plant floor personnel

  • Realize ICT Governance by maintaining and enforcing ICT standards and guidelines within the local ICT infrastructure

  • Supporting Shopfloor system integration and development

  • Microsoft Office Suite, Server and workstation implementation and troubleshooting

  • Creation of technical procedures and documentation for applications

  • Participate in weekly meetings with management to discuss progress and issues to be resolved.

  • Manage ICT projects

  • VM Ware integration and technical support

  • Daily support of assigned ICT Tickets within our internal ticketing system

  • Any other duties as delegated by supervisor/manager

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or relevant practical experience

  • 3+ years work experience (preferred in manufacturing environment)

  • Demonstrate appropriate business discipline and acumen

  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.

  • Analytical skills to assess application systems, end user needs, identify issues and recommend solutions.

  • Exposure to Exchange and SharePoint environments

  • Extensive experience in client/server distributed computer systems.

  • Demonstrated communication and organizational skills

  • Strong competencies in server platform installations and support

  • Knowledge of VM Ware with regards to installation, creation, and support
